Many thanks to Caroline Jarrett for coming to give what was a really enjoyable and engaging talk on designing forms that work.
It was great that she was so open to discussion throughout her talk, and did a great job of including the audience. And there were lots of people – thanks to everyone for coming, and for getting involved with questions.
As I mentioned in my little intro, we do have an electronic version of Caroline’s book, “Forms That Work“, in the Sanger library, but perhaps we should request a hardcopy, too…
One of the other books that Caroline passed around was the companion to Forms That Work, Ginny Redish’s book, “Letting Go of the Words” – also well worth checking out, since getting that content and language right can make such a massive difference to any web form or page.
The slides from Caroline’s talk are below:
That was a great talk. Thanks for organising it. Paula
My pleasure! Glad you enjoyed it – Caroline has a good delivery, I reckon. I think that people probably could have managed another hour, with even more detail.
