Remember that great double talk we had form Bang Wong and Miriah Meyer, back in June 2010?
Miriah’s talk focused on her methodological approach to solving visualization problems, and I was particularly interested in how much of what some of us would recognise as UX design practices she applied to those problems. She introduced us to applications like Pathline and MizBee, and told us that “a methodological approach to viz development makes effective design decisions salient”.
Well, Miriah gave an expanded, updated version of that talk at TEDx Waterloo recently, and I think you’ll really enjoy it. Big thanks to Jan Aerts (@jandot) for pointing it out to me.
