As many of you probably know, quite a bit of the technique of UX design (and especially usability testing) owes its development to studies carried out as part of cognitive psychology and human factors research.

Susan Weinschenk, a psychologist and human factors expert, who also spoke at UXLx, recently wrote an article for UX Magazine entitled “The Psychologist’s View of UX Design“. Lots of enlightening points, and some interesting comments, too…
